New Shark Original on the Easel

Great excitement in the studio as this large shark canvas starts to develop, with a careful drawing in graphite laying the foundation for the tonal underpainting. The drawing actually helps me to paint more boldly and confidently, as you're not having to correct anatomy/ detail/ perspective if it's all there to guide you. Just some jellyfish to add now and then the fun with a 3 inch house brush can begin!
