PAINTINGS IN PROGRESS

During  the Autumn of 2010 I was asked by the BBC to take part in Autumnwatch as part of Iolo William’s quest for Welsh sea trout. I was filmed painting in the studio and snorkelling in my local rivers and here is the result.  I hope you enjoy it!

I’m happy to confirm that I will again be providing images for the EA’s rod licence 2012/13. These are confirmed as roach and sea trout.  Prints will be available on 1st April 2012 and I will be running a competition to win one of each on my FACEBOOK page.

During the summer I’ve been diving off Pembrokeshire and had some wonderful encounters with bass, mullet and grey seals.  You may have seen the oil studies of bass currently displayed on my Marine Fish page in original art.  These are preliminary sketches for several larger finished pieces that I’m planning later in the year.  These will be displayed ‘In Progress’ once they are underway.

In the next few months I will be exhibiting at the Millyard Gallery,  Aberglasney Gardens (my first time here), The Birdfair and The  Birdscapes Gallery.  In between  I will also be displaying and selling work at various fishing AGM’s so keep an eye on the Exhibitions page throughout 2012.
